Walkthrough without ruining the first run

This is not a game that needs a solution guide. It works best as a slow, uninterrupted first experience. Use this page to set expectations, then come back for a community playthrough.

What to do on your first run

  1. Take your time. This is a short, atmospheric experience rather than a reflex-heavy horror game. Rushing through dialogue or using a video as a second screen weakens the pacing.
  2. Listen closely. Play with headphones if you can. Sound is a large part of the tension and the game’s sense of space.
  3. Explore naturally. Interact with the environment and follow the game’s prompts. There is no need to look for a “perfect” build or an optimal route before you know the story.
  4. Finish before researching. Once you have reached the end, read interpretations, watch another player’s reaction, and compare what you noticed.
